Abstract
Superficial fungal infections are frequent and can cause considerable morbidity. Many topical agents are available that are effective against most of these infections. Systemic fungal infections are increasing in frequency, especially among immunocompromised hosts. Amphotericin B remains the most important therapeutic agents but is associated with significant acute and chronic toxicities.Entities:
