Abstract
A 91-year-old patient with an extraskeletal osteosarcoma (characterized by atypical mesenchymal cells with ossification) of the forehead associated with a basal cell carcinoma is reported. Both osteoid and basal cell carcinoma nests were found embedded in a stroma containing markedly atypical cells. The 2 previously reported carcinosarcomas of the skin are reviewed.Entities:
