Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIM: The promotion of peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) maintenance in primary hospitals can benefit discharged patients with PICCs living in remote areas a lot. Yet, no primary hospitals had introduced PICC maintenance technology in Hunan province, China.
