Abstract
An enzyme immunoassay method for the assay of serum immunoreactive trypsin (IRT) is described. The method is a two site binding assay carried out on microtitre plates as the solid phase. Wells were coated with affinity purified anti-human trypsin and biotinylated anti-trypsin and avidin-beta-galactosidase were used as the second antibody and detection system respectively. The assay was sensitive enough to determine IRT concentrations in either serum or dried blood spots. A good correlation was obtained when the method was compared with the Hoechst radioimmunoassay method.Entities:
