Abstract
The magnitude of the AIDS epidemic is exceeding the predictions of a short time ago. Since AIDS patients are being encountered more frequently in family practice, the possibility of accidental exposure to HIV has become a source of concern. By exercising specific precautions and by minimizing misconceptions about the epidemiology of AIDS, physicians can provide reassurance and protection to their employees in the family practice setting.Entities:
