Abstract
Total hip replacement remains one of the most successful and popular operative techniques in orthopedic surgery. Over several decades, several patients have been benefited by this mechanical and surgical achievement. It is an innovation that stands among the most significant surgical and technological achievements of the 20th century. The purpose of this review was to summarize the main landmarks on the evolution of hip surgery and the resulting modern total hip arthroplasty technique.Entities:
