Abstract
Blowspinning is a new technique that enables the large-scale production of fibers with diameters ranging from micrometer to nanometer, which is more like a combination of melt-blown and electrospinning but has its own characteristics. This method can be used to deposit fibers in situ and produce various fibrous materials, such as coating, nonwoven and sponge. These characteristics provide a new strategy for nanofiber application and attract the interest of many researchers. Enclosing blowspinning technique, systematical researches have been carried out, involving in basic principle, empirical studies, spinning equipment and application. This review is intended to emphasize trends and gaps in the form of a concise illustration of various research direction.Year: 2020 PMID: 32628010 DOI: 10.1021/acsami.0c05740
