CoVid-19 related dactyitis.

Diffuse swelling of second, fourth and fifth toes that had developed slowly over 10 days in a healthy sixteen year old girl (Fig. 1 ). The patient experienced pain on squeezing the 2°,4° and 5° metatarsophalangeal joints. Clinical examination did not reveal any other pathological findings. She was treated with 500 mg naproxen once every twelve hours for five days, which resulted in resolution of swelling and pain. The patient described anosmia, ageusia, odynophagia and fever for seven days, three weeks prior to examination. Blood test were normal and negative for antinuclear antibodies, rheumatic factor and HLA-B27. The Covid-19 polymerase chain reaction nasopharyngeal swab was negative and serology positive for IgG and IgM. This dactylitis related to Covid-19 resolved promptly without specific therapy as it is described for other manifestatio>ns [1], [2].
