Skin Reducing Mastectomy and Prepectoral Breast Reconstruction in Large Ptotic Breasts.

Michele Maruccia1, Rossella Elia2, Eleonora Nacchiero1, Giuseppe Giudice1.

Abstract

Large and/or ptotic breasts demonstrate significant difficulty in breast reconstruction and that the rates of perioperative complications are higher compared with the general population. The authors aim to clarify some details on their previously published technique on skin reducing mastectomy and prepectoral ADM breast reconstruction.
