Abstract
Benign (BPNSTs) and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs) can occur either sporadically or related to neurofibromatosis (NF) syndromes (1). While sporadic neurofibromas are benign, some neurofibromas related to neurofibromatosis can transform to MPNSTs.
