Abstract
BACKGROUND: Liver resection has been widely applied as a curative measure in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. However, the high rate of postoperative recurrence observed following liver resection proposes a problem, the solution for which is yet to be well established. Microwave coagulation is a therapy that was recently proposed as an adjuvant tool. In this study, we intended to evaluate the effectiveness of microwave coagulation as an auxiliary therapeutic method for patients undergoing liver resection.Entities:
