Frozen elephant trunk with Frozenix prosthesis.

Abstract

This paper presents the clinical applications of the Japanese-made frozen elephant trunk (FET, Frozenix®). The historical aspects of FET development, manufacture and structure of Frozenix, video images of a representative case, and a summary of a multi-centre Japanese Frozenix study, J-ORCHESTRA, are discussed. 2020 Annals of Cardiothoracic Surgery.
