Abstract
BACKGROUND: In rheumatic mitral stenosis (MS), left atrial (LA) thrombus and LA spontaneous echo contrast (LA SEC) reflect hypercoagulability. The study focuses on whether D-dimer levels predict the existence of LA thrombus and SEC in patients with severe MS.Entities:
