Abstract
BACKGROUND: Acute renal injury (AKI) caused by hypotension often occurs in elderly patients after gastrointestinal tumor surgery. Although vasoactive drugs can increase effective filtration pressure, they may increase renal vascular resistance and reduce renal blood flow. Factors of P < 0.10 in the univariate analysis were included in the multivariate analysis. All the variables for regression analysis were listed in the chart, among which preoperative creatinine and the frequency of intraoperative hypotension were significant risk factors for AKI in this study
