Abstract
Mitochondrial fission is mainly regulated by a number of dynamin superfamily proteins or DSPs, of which dynamin-like protein 1 (Drp1) is responsible for the scission process during mitochondrial fission. Here we describe several methods, including monitoring mitochondrial distribution, phosphorylation, and tetramer level of Drp1, to examine the activity of Drp1 in mitochondrial fission in vivo.Entities:
