Caring for patients with posttraumatic stress and substance use disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Although COVID-19 is a physical illness, it has had large impacts on mental health. For many individuals, social distancing has led to social isolation; individuals with posttraumatic stress disorder and substance use disorders are at a particular risk for negative outcomes due to the global pandemic.
