Abstract
As the data resulting from modern clinical research are astonishingly complex, statistics constitute an integral component of the research project, from the study conception and design to the reporting of the results. At the same time, the Medical Literature is not immune to statistical pitfalls. In the following lines we identify eleven common statistical mistakes, elucidate their effects on the study credibility, and provide tips and tricks to avoid them.Entities:
