Abstract
PURPOSE: To evaluate the effects of preconception care (PCC) consultations by change in lifestyle behaviors. SETTING AND INTERVENTION: Women in deprived neighborhoods of 14 Dutch municipalities were encouraged to visit a general practitioner or midwife for PCC.
