Abstract
Pronator syndrome may be caused by a persistent median artery that passes completely through the proximal median nerve and then gives origin to a vascular leash to the flexor muscles that compresses the nerve. A "double crush" compression of the median nerve caused by persistent median artery producing first a carpal tunnel syndrome and then a pronator syndrome is described.Entities:
