Figure 1Management of close contacts in a dialysis center with a hemodialysis patient with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection diagnosed. ∗Close contacts are defined as persons within 2 m of a patient infected with COVID-19 with more than 30 minutes exposure. Asymptomatic patients will be escorted to the designated dialysis center for outpatient dialysis for 14 days from the last contact with the index case. Contacts who develop respiratory symptoms or fever are admitted to exclude COVID-19 infection. Abbreviation: PPE, personal protective equipment.
