Abstract
The past decade has brought about dramatic changes in the diagnosis and management of cancer. Advancements in imaging and minimally invasive interventional techniques combine to rapidly diagnose, stage, and in certain cases, treat various forms of cancer. Physicians treating patients with cancer are confronted with many challenges beginning with the initial diagnosis. Imaging plays an integral role in every step of caring for the patient with cancer. Advances in imaging allow the earlier detection and staging of the disease and aid in decision making and treatment planning.Entities:
