Abstract
The physiological role of alternative polyadenylation (APA) in controlling hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) behavior in vivo, and the mechanistic implications of this association, remain elusive. Now in Cell Stem Cell, Sommerkamp et al. (2020) provide evidence that APA regulates HSC self-renewal and multi-potency by affecting stem cell activation and glutaminolysis.Entities:
