Abstract
A high-performance liquid chromatographic method has been developed that permits determination and quantitation of desferrioxamine and metabolites as their iron (III) complexes in small samples of mammalian plasma at levels encountered with ion-specific chelation treatments. The technique permits measurement of desferrioxamine and metabolite concentrations which can be used in pharmacokinetic studies. A human study is presented as an example.Entities:
