Abstract
BACKGROUND: Drain insertion following chronic subdural haematoma (CSDH) evacuation reduces recurrence and improves outcomes. The mechanism of this improvement is uncertain. We assessed whether drains result in improved postoperative imaging, and which radiological factors are associated with recurrence and functional outcome.Entities:
