Abstract
BACKGROUND: Kidney transplantation should improve abnormalities that are common during dialysis treatment, like anaemia and mineral and bone disorder. However, its impact is incompletely understood. We therefore aimed to assess changes in clinical indicators after the transition from chronic dialysis to kidney transplantation.Entities:

FIGURE 1Median levels for each clinical indicator in the calendar year before, of and after kidney transplantation. Values in the year of kidney transplantation are based on measurements after kidney transplantation only. Vertical lines extend from the 25th to 75th percentiles. The grey area indicates the target range. If this was different for patients on dialysis, then the target range for dialysis patients is also shown.
