BACKGROUND: Podoplanin (D2-20) stains immunohistochemically lymphatic vessels, regular mesothelium and tumor cells of different tumors, e.g. malignant mesothelioma or seminoma. In squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), the marker has been described as variously expressed.Entities:
