Abstract
Combined PET/MRI has now been in clinical routine for almost 10 years. Since then, it has not only had to face validation, comparison and research questions, it has also been increasingly used in clinical routine. A number of cardiovascular applications have become established here, whereby viability imaging and assessment of inflammatory and infiltrative processes in the heart are to be emphasized. However, further interesting applications are expected in the near future. This review summarizes the most important clinical applications on the one hand and mentions interesting areas of application in research on the other.Mesh:
