Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has been increasingly performed to treat coronary artery disease. The performance of multiple PCI has also been increasing. Consequently, the percentage of patients presenting for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery is reported to vary from 13 to 40%. The influence of previous PCI on CABG outcomes has been studied in single center, regional studies, registries and meta-analyses. Some reports showed a negative effect on mortality and morbidity in early or long-term follow-up, but others did not find this influence. METHODS ANDEntities:
