Dear Editor, We found that the report on “first case of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pneumonia in Taiwan” is very interesting. We would like to share ideas on this report. Cheng et al. noted that “This case report revealed a natural course of NCP with self-recovery, which may be a good example in comparison with medical treatments.” Our country Thailand is the second country that disease started in January 2020. The patients usually have fever and lung disorders. At present (5th March 2020), accumulated 48 confirmed cases are report. Most cases (31) have complete recovery but there is still no self-recovery. Whether the disease can have self-recovery or not is an interesting issue. In fact, afebrile illness and no respiratory presentation might be possible and these cases might be under diagnosed and there might be some under-detected infection with self-recovery.
