[The expert consensus on safety management of central venous access device].

In order to promote the development of infusion therapy in China, to facilitate the scientific research in the field of central venous access device, to provide safe, reasonable and effective central venous catheter for patients, according to the principle of evidence-based medicine, based on the best evidence at present, according to the questionare and recommended strength classification, we have widely consulted and reached an agreement among multi-disciplinary experts, clinicians and nursing staff. The purpose of this consensus is to provide medical staff with solutions for the safety management of central venous catheter, and the evidence for decision-making.
