Abstract
HIP OSTEOARTHRITIS. The hip is a common localization for osteoarthritis. Hip osteoarthritis can have a profound effect on daily life activities, such as walking and using the stairs. Hip osteoarthritis can be broadly categorized into two types: primary and secondary. In primary hip osteoarthritis, the disease is of idiopathic origin and it affects a relatively elderly population. Secondary hip osteoarthritis is a monoarticular condition and develops as a result of an underlying pathology modifying the articular surface.Entities:
