Abstract
An 84-year-old woman presented with a 9mm sized solitary liver metastasis in liver S8 18 months after the surgery for sigmoid colon cancer. The patient was treated with stereotactic body radiation therapy(SBRT)for local control, because the patient chose not to undergo surgery or chemotherapeutic treatment for metastatic liver cancer. SBRT is a minimally invasive treatment with a very short treatment period. Therefore, it may be considered as an alternative treatment for patients who are not suitable for surgery.Entities:
