Abstract
Bilateral serous retinal detachments are rare complications of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). We report the case of a 28-year-old woman with chronic relapsing TTP with bilateral serous retinal detachments, which resolved after prompt aggressive medical therapy. Unlike several previous reports, the retinal detachments in our patient were unrelated to systemic hypertension.Entities:
