Abstract
This column describes a project funded by the Big Data to Knowledge initiative to develop online learning modules for researchers, clinicians, and informationists/librarians on aspects of next-generation sequencing projects. The modules describe a framework for next-generation sequencing projects, with particular emphasis placed on experimental design, ethical considerations, data storage, and data sharing. The author outlines how the modules were developed and summarizes their contents.Entities:
