Abstract
The localization of measles virus antigens in hamster brains inoculated with a temperature-sensitive mutant of measles virus r its revertant was studied by immunofluorescence. We found significantly less virus antigen in mutant-inoculated than in revertant-inoculated brains. In mutant-inoculated brains the virus antigens were very often found in the meninges. Possible mechanisms for the development of experimental hydrocephalus and meningoencephalitis are discussed.Entities:
