Abstract

We present a 28 year-old male with an early onset of RRP at one year. The patient had gone through a total of 31 operations over a period of 7 years. Following the diagnosis of tracheal papillomatosis, he received a four-time treatment of T-tube insertion combined with laser fulguration. During the last operation, pathological findings showed moderate dysplasia with malignancy potential. Conformal radiotherapy was then given at 5,000 cGY, targeting the tracheal tumor bed. The patient experienced complete remission with no complications. His condition has lasted for 20 years, and has continued up through the time of this report.
