Abstract
OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this article is to review established and emerging methods for reducing motion artifacts in pediatric abdominal MRI. CONCLUSION. Clearly understanding the strengths and limitations of motion reduction methods can enable practitioners of pediatric abdominal MRI to select and combine the appropriate techniques and potentially reduce the need for sedation and anesthesia.Keywords: abdominal MRI; compressed sensing; parallel imaging; pediatric; radial sampling; simultaneous multislice
