Abstract
Assessing new graduate nurses' competency is an important outcome of the orientation and evaluation process. Nurse managers and nurse preceptors act as key stakeholders in the transition of new graduate nurses to professional practice and are often charged with the responsibility of assessing the competency of new graduate nurses. This article provides insight in regard to the perception of postorientation competency levels of new graduate nurses.Mesh:
