[Can bone growth be stimulated (author's transl)].

J Bösch.

Abstract

UNLABELLED: Stimulation of bone growth by heterologous (bovine) bone grafts may help in leg length discrepancies. Arrest of epiphyseal growth plates or leg lengthenning by osteotomy may be necessary to a lesser extent or be entirely unnecessory. MATERIAL: 72 cases, 88 stimulations in 16 years.
