Figure 2Association between lactate dehydrogenase and in-hospital mortality. A nonlinear association between lactate dehydrogenase and in-hospital mortality was found in a generalized additive model (GAM). The solid red line represents the smooth curve fit between variables. Blue bands represent the 95% confidence interval from the fit. All adjusted for age, gender, BMI, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, atherosclerosis, smoking, symptom, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, type of AAD (Stanford), admission of white blood cell, hemoglobin, alanine transaminase, aspartate aminotransferase, albumin, creatinine, and management.
