Abstract
BACKGROUND: Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a blistering, life-threatening autoimmune disease. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)-treated desmoglein (Dsg) enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) has recently been suggested to detect nonpathogenic antibodies. Rituximab (RTX) is now considered a first-line treatment for PV.Entities:
