Abstract
This case highlights the first reported association of doxorubicin with takotsubo cardiomyopathy (TC) presenting as cardiogenic shock during the first continuous infusion in a patient with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma. We aim to raise awareness to recognize and distinguish between irreversible doxorubicin-associated cardiomyopathy and reversible doxorubicin-associated TC in patients with cancer.Entities:
