A Tverdal1, E Funnemark.

Abstract

The protective effect of BCG vaccination in Norway in the first 10 years after vaccination is estimated to have been 80%. The effect was higher during the first 5 years after vaccination than during the next 5 years. Restricting the calculation to infectious cases only the protective effect was 60%.
