Abstract
Bartonella infection has been associated with culture negative endocarditis and in rare cases immune complex medicated rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN). Most of the previously reported cases of RPGN are associated with endocarditis. We report a case of RPGN with no endocarditis secondary to Bartonella infection. Good social history, high index of suspicion, diagnosis with polymerase chain reaction and treatment with antibiotics is the key for treatment.Entities:
