Abstract
Esophagitis induced by medications has been recognized in adults but rarely in children. A child with hemorrhagic esophagitis resulting from taking doxycycline tablets for treatment is described and the pathophysiology of this condition is discussed. In pediatric cases treated by tablets or capsules, the possibility of medication-induced esophagitis should always be considered.Entities:
