Abstract
Over the last 10 years, a number of advances have been made in our understanding of fibroblastic and myofibroblastic tumors. The rapidly evolving field of molecular diagnostics has resulted in the recognition of new entities and better understanding of tumor pathogenesis, while careful clinicopathologic correlative analyses have led to improvements in modeling tumor behavior. This review will discuss new and emerging entities in fibroblastic neoplasia and provide updates on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and prognostication of these diverse and challenging tumors.Entities:
