Abstract
The management of five patients with phaeochromocytoma undergoing surgical removal is described. Pre-operative preparation with phenoxybenzamine and nifedipine for 7 days before surgery prevented excessive fluctuations in cardiovascular parameters in the peri-operative period and resulted in an uneventful recovery.Entities:
