Abstract
With the development of new technologies, smartphones are now ubiquitous and occupy a growing place in the medical world. More and more applications are developed in the medical field, either for medical education or as knowledge resources to help physicians guide their treatment, and have been regrouped under the name of mobile-learning or m-learning. Because of an increasing demand of students from the Faculty of Medicine in Geneva University, we developed a smartphone and tablet application, called Head To Toe, which is a mobile medical knowledge distribution platform. After successful implementation for students, the platform is now extending to postgraduate formation and to hospital physicians. We describe here how the application works, its role for students and physicians, with examples related to urology.Mesh:
