Abstract
Suspensions of rat hepatocytes are resistant to hypoxia for at least 24 hr at 4 degrees C. After storage for 24 hr with xylitol, sorbitol, or glycerol, their subsequent capacity for glucogenesis from these substrates is increased. Even storage under N2/CO2 as the gas phase has little deleterious effect.Entities:
