Abstract
Cochlear implantation has become a standard tool of management of severe to profound hearing loss. Cochlear implantation in patients with chronic renal failure who are on hemodialysis are at greater risk of complications intraoperatively and postoperatively. Very few cases of cochlear implantation have been reported in the English literature so far following renal transplantation. Herein we report a case of cochlear implantation in a 37 year old lady with post renal transplant failure who is on maintenance hemodialysis. © Association of Otolaryngologists of India 2018.Entities:
